TRANSFER VHS, s-VHS, Hi8, OR DV TAPES TO DVD

 

Box up your personal VHS, s-VHS, Hi8, or DV tapes and mail them using a track and trace service such as FedEx, UPS, etc. Tapes will be transferred to DVD+R DL (double layer) disks. These disks will hold about 1 hour 52 minutes worth of material. If the VHS or DV tape is longer than that, then the overflow will be transferred to another DVD disk at no additional charge. Upon request, transfers to a 100 year archival 24 K gold DVD are also available for an additional fee.

 

BASIC SERVICE

Duplication services are direct copies of originals without any editing. First tape to DVD transfer is $25.00. Additional transfers to DVDs are $15/tape. Transfers to a 100 year archival 24 K gold DVD are available for $35.00 for the first 60 minutes, and $25 for each additional 1-60 minute increment. The 24 K gold DVDs are single layer and can only hold about 60 minutes worth of material.

 

PREMIUM SERVICE

Editing for the first 1-60 minutes of tape will be done for $60.00, and then $1.00 for each minute of raw footage thereafter.. We can add titles, dates, transitions, background music, remove poor quality parts of the tape, and add chapter titles on the main menu of the DVD—just tell us what you want done. Transfers to a 100 year archival 24 K gold DVD are available for $70.00 for each 1-60 minute increment.

 

Exact duplicate copies of DVDs may be obtained for $10 each (or $20 for each 24 K gold DVD) if ordered before delivery, and $20 (or $30 for each 24 K gold DVD) if ordered after delivery is made.

 

BACKGROUND MUSIC

To avoid legal issues, royalty free music will be included on the finished CD/DVD. The following genres of music are available: corporate, cinematic, rock, comedy, funky percussive, jazz, Christmas, hip-hop, dance, pop, country, EZ listening, new age, and wedding. You may select your favorite songs by visiting http://www.davenportmusic.com/royaltyfreecdsets.html. Select any of the songs from the 23 disk set. Please email the selections you would want placed in the finished product. If your video is 45 minutes, then select 45 minutes worth of music.
